What Are the 4?

Long before the global pandemic, and before weight concerns skyrocketed to where they are today, we identified 4 major causes for weight gain. They are:

  1. Sedentary Lifestyle - or - Not Enough Physical Activity

  2. Portion Sizes

  3. Poor Quality Choices - (i.e., fat-saturated fast food, junk, sweets, sodas, chemical and preservative-ladened foods)

  4. Emotional Eating

URGENT: the science shows (the statistics are in) that people with extra weight are at much higher risk of contracting the Corona Virus, with additional serious complications, than normal weight folks.

We also know that people everywhere are trying hard to cope with this pandemic and overeating and overdrinking (common ways of coping) has resulted in tremendous weight gain for many people. Especially young people.

Take a moment to reread the list of 4 and determine the factor most relevant to where you are.
